Nice post Travis, I like the variety of issues that you choose. I see that you used a world news source which could have been problematic but all of your selected issues seem specific so I'm sure they are fine. The headline about the military vet is hilarious, that's the definition of finessing the system. What a baller. I hope you can come up with a good entrepreneurial idea with the issues you found.

Travis, I found your local opportunities to be very interesting. I really liked the different topics or varieties that you chose to talk about, and your descriptions were really well written. Your choices show that you did a lot of research on your sources. I never heard of most of the stories that you posted! I find it so crazy how we have so many things going on locally that we never know about. Great post!

I've never heard of anything like this happening in a neighborhood. I also find the story concerning a veteran illegally collecting disability checks interesting.
